Soma MunicipalityProject Year
2020Soma Millet Bahçesi (National Garden) is a comprehensive urban transformation project realized in the Soma district of Manisa province. As Enerva Engineering, we designed and implemented all electrical systems for the project, including landscape lighting, facade illumination, LED water features, and the complete outdoor electrical infrastructure.
Soma Millet Bahçesi is a modern open-air public space delivered to the city center of Soma, Manisa. Distinguished by its circular architectural layout, this project was fully undertaken by Enerva Engineering in terms of electrical design and implementation.
The most striking feature of the project is the integrated LED lighting system that illuminates the entire garden at night, along with decorative water fountain light effects and facade lighting design. Environmentally friendly LED technology was used throughout, keeping both aesthetics and energy efficiency at the forefront.
Project Scope
- Landscape Lighting: LED luminaire design and installation for walkways, seating areas, and green spaces
- Facade Illumination: Decorative LED lighting project for building facades and the circular platform
- Water Feature Electrical System: Underwater LED lighting and pump electrical connections for the central ornamental pool
- Outdoor Power Distribution: Lighting poles, distribution panels, and underground cable routes
- Earthing and Protection: Grounding system compliant with outdoor safety standards
Technical Specifications
Energy-efficient LED technology was used for all lighting elements. Luminaires with IP65 and above protection class were selected for outdoor use. The system was designed to operate automatically via dusk/dawn sensors and time relays.
Implementation Process
The project involved electrical engineering work carried out simultaneously with the architectural design. Cable routes and installation details were planned in coordination with street furniture, landscape elements, and water features.
Results Achieved
Energy Efficiency: More than 50% energy savings achieved compared to conventional lighting systems.
Aesthetic Contribution: Night lighting gave the project a distinctive visual identity and significantly enhanced the urban aesthetic of Soma.
Safety: Outdoor-rated systems ensured a long-lasting and reliable electrical infrastructure.
User Satisfaction: This modern public space has added real value to the social life of Soma residents.
